"Sebastian is a guitarist and composer and is the main character for all the compositions on this record. Despite his young age and inexperience when it comes to albums, Tre Öar really manages to make his debut something extraordinary."

Sebastian Cardenas Persson is a Swedish/Colombian jazz guitarist and saxophonist with his base in Malmö. With a full focus on the act of listening and the trust of the intuitive moment, Sebastian is a truly dedicated musician that suprises with his astounding technique and spiritual presence.
As a musician, he's most definitely a being that has to be experienced live to get the full picture. An expressionistic improviser. A deeply dedicated soul with an extraordinary sense of the moment, Sebastian Persson has performed with and elevated the performance of many nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians such as Jan Lundgren, Vivian Buzcek, Isak Hedtjärn, Elin Forkelid, Kresten Osgood, Anders "AC" Christensen, Michala Østergaard-Nielsen, Hannes Bennich, Rudi Mahall, Christina Von Bülow, Kathrine Windfeld, Johnny Åman, Magnus Hjorth, Sven-Erik Lundeqvist, Felisia Westberg,
Composing ever since he first picked up the guitar, it's needless to say he has a lot of experience in the field. His sincere, soft characteristic estetic of songwriting travels through and touches all hearts. It often transcends mere musical boundaries and invites the listener to create their own inner landscapes while hearing Sebastian's music. His style oozes genuinity and spirituality without being pretentious and still having deep dug roots to the jazz tradition.
"A very personal music that not only arises in a hurry but after joint thinking and playing." - Leif Wigh, Orkesterjournalen

"Tre Öar gives us sound, but also silence. The music continues even when the instruments have fallen silent and the small moments of silence become as important as the music because that is when the sound images of the music have time to penetrate the listener ” - Lennart Götesson, Dalademokraten
"With a lot of emotion, the band oscillates between dreamy shades and crystal clear solo parts in a very balanced, ambient sound image." - Linus Fröbom, live performance review from Ystad Jazz Festival 2021, Sydsvenskan
"The show begins in a bold way with a whistling tone, dreamy chord playing and soft accompaniment. Persson consequently composes and colors the trio's distinctive sound. He stands out through his passion for atmospheric landscapes without a pulsating rhythm." - Mats Hallberg, live performance review from Ystad Jazz Festival 2021, Kulturbloggen
